Getting to Know Our Teens

Kyndall Ash - Dancer

My goals since my start with C4YL have remained the same: to become a commercial dancer.  However, my motivation and drive to pursue my dreams have increased because of the opportunities and support I've received from C4YL.

C4YL Reality Celeb who inspires me: Brittany Hanks because she is so nice & funny. But it’s also cool to see someone with a physique that is strong but feminine.

The I7 character trait that I display most:  Self-discipline because in dance you can't allow yourself to get lazy. You can't stop working, because to succeed you have to give 110% every day.

C4YL Funding needed: $5435.86 for Tuition for the Washington Ballet Training Intensive, additional Leotards & replacement Point Shoes.

Sarah Seye - Cheerleader

My goals since my start with C4YL have remained the same:  to attend and win the Cheerleading World Championships with my team. C4YL made my journey to worlds possible. I would also like to cheer on a college team.  And, I would like to major in broadcast journalism to provide a platform for other people's stories.

Years in the C4YL Family: 2

C4YL Reality Celeb who inspires me: Michaela Bradshaw because at the Warrior Games, she never gave up on her team, and I aspire to do the same for my cheerleading team.

Since I am new to TCA this year I am not allowed to apply for captain/co-captain or chaplain and having taken a year off of cheer; initially the transition back into getting prepared for cheer was tough but once I got back into the swing of things, it was like I never left. Losing my mom was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through but I know that she would want me to be on the sidelines doing what I love no matter what the circumstances.
